Sales Progressor

Successful candidates will be responsible for liaising with multiple parties to progress sales through to completion. They must be highly organised, strong communicators (written & verbal), well presented, and good at building enduring working relationships. They should also be team players, able to work under pressure, and have the drive and initiative to meet targets and deadlines.  

Reports to: Directors & Head of Homes     

Primary Duties:

  • Instructing solicitors and surveyors on negotiated purchases
  • Progressing property purchases through all stages to completion
  • Proactively chasing solicitors & estate agents
  • Providing regular updates to all parties
  • Problem solving where issues arise to prevent delays
  • Reviewing surveys to ensure properties meet client requirements & renegotiating purchase prices where necessary
  • Keeping up-to-date records of ongoing purchases to track progress
  • Identifying targeted completions for each month
  • Providing weekly progress reports to clients
  • Supporting and ensuring the smooth running of the office
  • Complying with Madison Brook International’s policies and procedures  

Qualifications/Skills Required:

  • Level 3 Residential Sales Qualification Level 3 (desired but not essential)
  • Knowledge of the property sales process (desired but not essential)
  • Ability to provide high level of client service
  • Effective time & deadline management skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Ability to build long-term relationships
  • Confident in liaising with other business sectors
  • Ability to motivate self and contribute to a team
  • IT literate

Salary: £18,000 – £25,000 pa

Commission: A commission-based contract option is available if preferred.

Hours of Work and Contractual Working Week: 08:45 – 18:00 Monday –Friday
